Alloy Wheel Repair and Refurbishment

This is becoming more popular as most exterior parts on cars can be colour coded.

Some refurbishment companies offer this service, but it entirely up to whom you choose. The refurbishment may also cost a little more for the paint matching or you may be required to provide the paint that you want them to refurbish your alloys with.

However, it isn’t always possible to find an exact colour match, so make sure you check that your colour can be obtained, or find out from whom you choose for the alloy wheel refurbishment if they can do/provide a colour match.

Colour coding is not really recommended because if you scuff the alloy wheel again it will remove the colour paint. This will reveal the alloy metal beneath the paint, obviously the contrast between alloy and colour paint is more obvious than alloy metal against silver (alloy colour) paint.

This makes the fault/kerb/scratch even more visible and ruining the look of your past refurbishment.

Please remember, not all alloy wheel refurbishment companies offer this service, you would need to take a look at a few if you still want it doing.
