Alloy Wheel Repair and Refurbishment

This is usually up to do to decide with whomever is doing the alloy wheel refurbishment.

However, complete refurbishment usually results in a better finish as the complete wheel is refurbished, painted (sprayed) with the original alloy wheel colour (if available) and then lacquered. This type of refurbishment usually costs more than just having the chips and scratches repaired, but gives a better ‘new’ finish.

If you are on a budget, many providers also offer the removal of scuff and scratches only. This repair and refurbishment is not usually as good as having the full wheel done but is usually quite a lot cheaper.

Make sure that you select a provider that has a lot of experience in alloy wheel repair and refurbishment, they can often make the repair NEARLY as good as having the entire alloy done.

This maybe better when selling your car, to make it visually more attractive without spending loads of money on the repair / refurbishment but adding good value.
